For Oxygen’s The DNA of Murder with Paul Holes, we created both the teaser and the main title — two pieces that explore how Paul Holes, the detective known for catching the Golden State Killer, approaches the investigation of violent crimes.
In the projection-mapping–driven teaser, we visualize Holes’ forensic mind at work as evidence, environments, and timelines shift around him.
For the main title, we channeled the mood and compositional language of Edward Hopper, crafting a cinematic sequence in which a crime unfolds in reverse, revealing itself piece by piece through Holes’ perspective.
